Long ago, before tumblr existed, I asked my online acquaintances if they thought keeping plants in captivity was cruel. I don’t think I did a good job getting across what I meant. This image points toward some of my reservations about it.

On my flickr I have a set called Balconies, Window Boxes and Other Instances of Plants in Captivity— because I am morbidly fascinated with this perverse human past-time.  :)

自転車で広尾に行った帰り、

おしゃれな洋服やさんの花屋に立ち寄りました。

（いいグリーンに出会える気がして）

買ったのですが、名前は、、、と書こうとすると

聞くのを忘れているんですね。

（今度からはしっかりメモろう！）

家にあった弱ったグリーンと水で根をつけたグリーン、

プラス買ったグリーンもそれぞれの鉢に植えました。

窓際が、ちょっと息を吹き返してきたみたいです。
