I also have a phone booth tag going, but it is called public phones. Urban interventions is a good idea.

Posterchild is ramping up his arboreal assault on Williamsburg. Putting an abandoned phone booth to use, the Toronto-based street artist installed another evergreen near the last one on Bedford Ave.

Well, I just answered my own question from that previous phone booth-centered post — in which I asked if there are other example of repurposed phone booths that we haven’t yet featured on Unconsumption.
In that post, I linked to the “urban intervention” tag on one of my other Tumblrs, and found this phone booth! (I thought I’d reblogged it from Unconsumption; turns out it’s from urbangreens.)
Still, do let me know if there are other phone booth examples you’ve seen that you suggest we add to the Unconsumption phone booth series!

Rogier Martens 2008 / 2011 I actively overused the environment designing the “Tree Bench” for the municipality of Amersfoort and Worked With The Elements thats the park had to offer: trees, city walls, paths, and grass. It is no challenge to just dig a hole and a install a bench. An ideal bench need the environment and the environment needs the bench too. To Achieve a Goal That contributes to the park bench as a walk, sit, rest, kiss, lie, measurement, watch, dog walk, day-dream, stretch, run, think, décidé, smoke and lunch spot. During my visits to the park I was inspired by the overgrowth plants and mushrooms. In the design I overused the Characteristics of mushroom. Suddenly there was mushroom and When The weather conditions and temperature change, they’re Disappear. Using the Tree Bench I want surprise visitors in the park The Same Way.The Tree Benches can Easily be attached to the trees Using a suspension system. The Tree Bench Will not the nuisance tree Itself. Will the visitor understand Immediately thats the tree bench is made to sit on. Rogier Martens 2008 / 2011
